We developed a user digital TV set-top box for IPTV content operators, which enables IPTV content reception and decoded stream playback on a TV set in the SD and HD formats (up to 1920x1080 60Hz). The hardware platform is based on the STi7105 processor by STMicroelectroniñs. This device decodes MPEG-2/4 video streams as well as connects and plays back data from an embedded HDD.

An innovative platform Pegasus was developed for digital signage displays and information displays. Full Linux support was provided for the whole set of chips and interfaces installed on the Pegasus platform, as well as external modules and daughter-boards. Also, an embedded Linux distribution was developed, with a set of applications that demonstrate the hardware platform capabilities.

A digital set-top box receiver for DVB-Ñ SD signal was developed. The STB is based on the STMicroelectroniñs STi5197 processor. Set-top box enclosure is implemented in the minimal form factor. The finished device targets the low-end market.

A universal audio streaming player prototype is successfully completed. The circuit board is based on Blackfin ADSP-BF533 processor from Analog Devices, Inc. The platform contains USB 2.0 (Host, OTG, Slave), Wi-Fi, CFII+, Ethernet 10/100 BaseT, S/PDIF, RS-232 interfaces. The board support package (BSP) is developed on the basis of uCLinux operating system. BSP comprises memory drivers, USB mass-storage controller driver and energy-saving mode control driver. Promwad team has developed a device prototype for video recording in JPEG2000 format on the basis of ADV202 BF-Expander debugging kit for Russian company - developer and manufacturer of midget systems for digital recording of audio and video information. The prototype allows video recording in Motion JPEG2000 format to USB Flash drive. We developed a program module, which saves frames received from ADV202 to a video stream. To support hardware compression of JPEG2000 Promwad team developed ADV202 driver.
