Promwad Demonstrates Best Developments at ChipEXPO-2008
The 6th All-Russian Specialized Exposition ChipEXPO-2008, devoted to electronics, microelectronics and components, took place at ExpoCenter in Moscow on 1st -3rd October, 2008. Representatives of many foreign companies showed interest in this event this year. In their speech at the official opening of the exposition they expressed their optimism in future development of Russian Electronics Industry and noted positive growth rates. 
Besides, the participation of a great number of young and Russian fabless-companies at the exposition left a pleasant impression. They contributed to creating a favourable environment for a lively communication and general friendly atmosphere at the forum, which, perhaps, was one of the main differences of ChipEXPO-2008 from events of such level.
The specialized DISPLAY-2008 exhibition was a positive addition to the exposition. It was held at the same time in adjacent pavilion in Expocenter and was devoted to information display devices and systems. Such peculiarity gave the participants a great possibility to get to know in detail about the companies existing nowadays in Russia in the market of displays and other information display means.
This year the organizers of ChipEXPO suggested the participants demonstrating their last developments and achievements in electronics at the specialized stand – The Best Products of Russian Electronics and Microelectronics 2007-2008. More than 50 companies took part in this promotional event and total number of exhibits at the stand exceeded 120 items. Lively interest in devices presented at the stand both from participants and visitors made it the real hit of the whole event.
Under event’s conditions one company could present not more than three devices at the stand. Because of this Promwad had to choose three devices from its most successful developments, which could maximally reflect its potential and capabilities:
The presented exhibits aroused lively interest among visitors of the stand and event’s organizers appreciated them worthily. The information about all products shown at the stand was included in a special ChipEXPO-2008 digest.
Promwad expresses its special gratitude to the organizers and participants of the exposition for a high level of preparation, their openness and goodwill in communication, and also hopes that next year the information level about the stand of best products of Russian electronics and microelectronics will be much higher due to a more active work of mass-media. This will allow raising the level of this event to a prestigious, objective and unique occasion, the participation in which will be a growth incentive for Russian developers of electronics.
