The Components & Technologies Magazine Publishes Promwad’s Article about Code Optimization for Blackfin Processors
Specialists of our software department have prepared a new article for the Components and Technologies trade magazine. They reviewed the most effective methods of code profiling and optimization for the Blackfin processor family.
It is a well-known fact that code optimization is a standard part of software development for embedded systems. It can take advantages of new processors and allows to enable all their available functions. However, it is important to use only the most effective methods. Software development tools cannot generate full-fledged code. Use of Assembler language is becoming more and more difficult as processor architectures becoming more complicated and abstraction in C language or using operating systems preclude from achieving the estimated maximum productivity. How to get the most efficient code as a result? This question will be answered by the authors of the article, Embedded system engineers Pavel Frolov and Igor Lektorov.
