Naliboki Forest will host Velcom Naliboki ‘11, a traditional marathon which will take place from 21 to 22 May. This event will be sponsored by the Promwad Innovation Company and Velcom, a mobile communications provider. This year the participants will enjoy the beauty of three new routes and test themselves in one of three sports disciplines - running, cycling (MTB) and water sports (canoe double).

The marathon start / finish camp will be pitched at the walls of Mir Castle. The event’s democratic rules will allow the participants to choose a route to their liking - they can determine the duration of the race and control the speed of movement. The participants will also be able to finish the marathon at any intermediate checkpoint, not only at the finish line.

The marathon will include events for four age groups in each of the disciplines. All participants will receive souvenirs and winners will be awarded with special prizes.
