Promwad Company engineers participated in the Industrial Multimedia Partner Training organized by Analog Devices, Inc. for its technology partners in Moscow on 18th March, 2008.

Extension of cooperation within "The Collaborative" program was discussed during the meeting. Live multimedia demonstration was presented on ADSP-BF548 EZ-KIT LiteR evaluation board running either ?Clinux operating system or software modules by Analog Devices for VisualDSP. Blackfin software optimization techniques such as DMA, L1 memory, Data Cache and Instruction Cache were discussed.

During the meeting with the leadership of Analog Devices, Inc., Promwad Company announced itself as an Electronics Design Center that develops their products based on Blackfin processors for the "Digital Home" application field.

Currently Promwad Company develops a video surveillance and recording system using JPEG2000 image compression standard based on ADV212/202 codec and Blackfin BF561 duo core processor. The project for the pilot samples production of the portable multimedia players that use different audio interfaces and are based on Blackfin BF548 processor was successfully completed. The development of the interactive cinema that simulates different effects impacts (sound, movement) on the viewer under the actions occurring on the screen is completed too. One of the boards is based on the Blackfin BF532 processor.
