Innovations and Technologies 2011, an international exhibition forum, was closed in Moscow on April 14. The Promwad Innovation Company, an electronics design center, took an active part in this event and unveiled its developments made for Russian and Canadian customers. One of the exhibits, the GPS Location Finder Compass, became a winner of Open Opportunities 2011. This competition was held within the framework of the exhibition specially for innovation companies and individual inventors.

Innovations and Technologies is a platform for demonstrating new developments and holding meetings with investors. It attracted over 4000 experts from different regions of the Russian Federation and other countries. The exhibition forum involved a number of related events, such as conferences, seminars and themed expositions.

One of these events was Smart Systems Show 2011, the first exhibition conference on robotics and intellectual systems, held this year. Traditionally this year, too, the forum included the Showroom of Inventions, a special exposition for small innovative businesses and individual inventors, who unveiled over 150 innovative projects. The best of them received Open Opportunities 2011 winner certificates, including the electronic Location Finder by Promwad.
