Promwad experts continue to share their experience of electronics development based on Samsung processors. Anton Zhukousky, the company’s expert in mobile platforms, wrote a review of the features demonstrated by the S3C6410 single-chip system by Samsung. The author of the review gave readers a few insights into these questions with an in-depth description of the postprocessor S3C6410, the LCD controller, the TV Scaler module, the Multi-Format Codec (MFC) as well as 2D and 3D graphics support modules.

Based on the findings of the review, it can be concluded that S3C6410’s high productivity coupled with its broad set of peripherals, interfaces and memory controllers makes this CPU an excellent base technology for electronic devices with extended multimedia capabilities, such as smartphones, car and navigation systems, video players, information panels, multimedia control panels, portable game devices, picture frames and MIDs (Multimedia Internet Devices).
