LVEE-2011: Promwad Innovation Company sponsors and takes part in the conference

From the 30th of June to the 3rd of July Grodno suburb (Belarus) will host an international conference of developers and users of free software Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe 2011. This event brings together professionals from Belarus, developers, Russia, Ukraine and EU countries. Promwad Innovation Company is a traditional Promwad sponsor and participant of LVEE.

According to preliminary data, over 130 people will take part in the conference. The traditional LVEE format is presentations, round tables and informal outdoor discussions.

Promwad Innovation Company has already submitted its report. Ivan Kuten, the head of new technologies research department, will present the new multi-function mini-server IP-Plug based on Linux Debian 6.0. This device is designed for IP-based networks.

Topics of the conference is not confined to the projects based on Linux, they also include such issues as development, testing and administration of open source software and use of free licenses. The LVEE-2011 reports will be grouped as follows:

  • computer applications and programming,
  • system administration and network infrastructure,
  • free licenses and projects.

Also organizers plan to hold a special Ruby Workshop (for the first time in the LVEE history). Official languages ​​of the event: Russian, Belarusian and English.
