November, 23 – Promwad Innovation Company participated in the traditional seminar Windows Embedded Day, which was organized by our partner Quarta Technologies in Minsk. This event was focused on managers and specialists of electronic devices development, manufacturers, as well as designers of hardware platforms based on operating systems Microsoft Windows Embedded.

Ivan Kuten, the head of Promwad R&D department, presented at this seminar his report ‘The Development of Devices Based on Microsoft Windows Embedded. Experience of embedded technology usage in hardware solutions’. He showed modern approaches to the development of electronic devices based on Samsung S3C6410 and S5PC100 mobile processors working on OS Windows Embedded Compact Edition (Windows CE). Also Ivan Kuten described technical characteristics, prototyping and debugging tools for family of mobile processors S3C64xx and S5PC.

All the participants of Windows Embedded Day could get acquainted with the exposition of devices. So, Promwad Electronics Design Center demonstrated evaluation board S3C6410, as well as new electronic devices, developed by request of its Russian clients: Tablet PC for specific applications and software and hardware solution for digital signage.
