Promwad company - sponsor of "Promwad Tour '08" Adventure Races Cup
Alongside with innovation activities in the sphere of electronics Promwad company actively contributes to the development of outdoor activities thus attracting the initiative and courageous both to join the company and take part in adventure races.
On 24-25 May 2008 a unique for Belarus sports event took place - there started the "Promwad Tour '08" Adventure Races Cup. "Udra" adventure rogaining was the first event in the race series, in which more than 100 recreationists making 50 teams took part.
The organizer of this event was "Promwad" team who strives for popularization of outdoor activities and adventure races in the Republic of Belarus. It consists of many Promwad company employees together with representatives of other companies working in IT sphere. This year the team aims to organize three races within "Promwad Tour '08", take part in various external races and hold a range of other remarkable sports events. This is not a first experience of organizers: in 2007 they organized "Okinchytsy" and "Gremyachee" adventure races, "Magic Kalevala" bike ride and several 200km one-day cross-country marathons.
Guided by the principle "Stay active with us!", Promwad tries to hold most part of its corporate meetings in form of outdoor activities. The Company makes considerable efforts to involve its employees in such forms of informal meetings, free communication and ideas interchange. The activities of Promwad company are directed at development of business social responsibility and are realized via support of cultural and sports events promoting healthy lifestyle and outdoor activities.
