DEDF-2012: Registration for Digital Electronics Developers Forum is Open

On March 30, 2012, Moscow will host the annual Digital Electronics Developers Forum, DEDF-2012. The keynote theme of the event is Systems-on-Chip in Multimedia and Portable Devices. Examples of Electronics Development Based on Linux and Android. The organizers invite technical experts to register as auditors and speakers of the forum by filling out an application form at dedf.promwad.com. Participation is free, but the number of places is limited.

As last year, DEDF will be held as a one-day conference with two sections (hardware and software). The participants will examine the practice of introducing new technologies into electronics development, testing and manufacturing. The program will include a presentation of examples of implemented products using:

  • Linux and Android based on chips by global vendors, including Texas Instruments (TI)
  • Specialized technologies for markets of multimedia, datacom, automotive and navigation electronics
  • Digital signal processing
  • JTAG testing

Special attention will be given to innovation projects in electronics development. Also, this year the forum will include a master class, Porting Linux/Android to TI debuggers, which will be held for the first time (fee-based).

Another new feature about the forum is the Project Exchange, a stand with samples of electronic devices developed by the forum participants. Design centers, independent engineers and programmers can apply for participation in this part of the program and present their products in this exposition.

Traditionally, DEDF will become a platform for live communication and experience exchange. Everyone who is interested can put their questions to representatives of leading companies in electronics (developers, distributors, manufacturers, etc.).

The participants who will enjoy special privileges at DEDF-2012 will be the speakers. They will demonstrate their expertise to their colleagues, potential customers and employers, as well as receive feedback from experienced engineers.

DEDF-2012 target audience: digital electronics engineers and developers, technical experts, application experts, heads of development departments, technical directors of design centers, distributor companies and technological vendors.

Registration deadline: March 12, 2012, for speakers, and March 16, 2012, for auditors. You can find the application form and information for participants at dedf.promwad.com.
