You are Invited to Join the First Annual Digital Electronics Developers Forum
Promwad invites you to join the First Regional Practical Digital Electronics Developers Forum. Engineers from all over ex-Soviet states and throughout Europe are welcomed to participate in the forum. We are expecting to see participants from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and many other regions at this year's event. Future DEDF conferences are being scheduled for Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, and Kyiv, and will feature presentations from top-ranking companies that manufacture digital electronic components and produce electronic products as co-organizers of the event.
The purpose of this conference is to unite leading digital electronics developers, and to create a unique and convenient platform for them to share experiences, communication, and collaboration in formulating new approaches to electronic engineering and development. Each year the conference is devoted to a particular technological application.
This year, the topic of the conference is “ADSP Application for Digital Electronics Design”. This topic was chosen because Analog Devices products are currently in the highest demand among developers from CIS-countries. The most popular of these are systems-on-chip with Blackfin kernel, digital signal processors in the ADSP-21xx family, SHARC, TigerSHARC, analog-digital converters, ADuC microcontrollers and MEMS sensors.
Special Guest Speaker: Johannes Horvath, of Analog Devices, Inc., Austria. Mr. Horvath is a leading engineer on the application of Analog Devices in Eastern Europe, and will be giving a presentation titled, “Overview of the world’s electronics market and new products from ADI”.

PARTICIPATION RULES
Participation of listeners and contributors is free. Anyone interested in offering a presentation at the conference will need to complete the registration application and include a preliminary submission of the presentation's thesis.
To take part in the conference as a listener or as a contributor you will need to fill in and send the application form to the e-mail address of the organising committee. The organising committee accepts applications on the following conference topics:
New approaches and methods for digital electronics design
Practical application of DSP algorithms
Unique examples of the application of a digital component base (non-standard solutions, solutions deserving a patent, etc)
Implementation and practical application of Analog Devices products;
Application of Linux OS in digital electronics, particularly on the ADI Blackfin platform
We also accept presentations on topics related to other issues of digital electronics development.
We invite potential contributors to share their interesting implementations of modern processors, ways of solving engineering tasks, and others interested in useful tools and tips to join us at the conference.
