We are looking for a Senior Android Framework Developer to join our team. Digital TV and Video Streaming is one of our competence centres focused on software solutions and hardware design for the broadcasting industry. Here, we develop applications for smart TVs and digital TV platforms based on Tizen, webOS, Android TV, etc.

What you will do

Search for, integrate, and modify audio/video streaming components, middleware and interfaces to user-space applications for the video/audio conferencing/streaming solutions.
Drive architecture and execution of software and hardware with cross-functional teams.
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
Write well-structured, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
Board bring up and hardware design validation related to video/audio.

What we would like to see in you

8+ years of software/firmware development experience.
3+ years experience with Embedded Android/Android BSP, specifically in video/audio streaming.
Proficiency in Java and C++.
Understanding and ability to modify code in C.
Experience with the GStreamer framework on the developer level.
Experience with video or graphics software technologies (V4L, VAAPI, ffmpeg, OpenMAX, OpenGL, etc.).

Understanding video and audio streaming protocols (RTP, RTSP, etc.), codecs (H.264/H265, VP9, etc.) and related technologies are highly desirable.
Experience with camera integration or camera subsystem customisations in AOSP.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, self-motivated and independent work approach.
Understanding of networking: Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP.
English (upper-intermediate and higher).
